I was kinda surprised but havent been to Vegas in a while. $13 to 14 dollars for a coffee is a little nuts. Starbucks in Downtown Manhattan is running around $7 for the higher end coffees. Marie

Exactly so. Problem is that Disney does not have a great track record of replacing great attractions with attractions that are different to be sure but of equal or greater value. There are some but many more of the ones that flopped. One of the ones that hurt most for me was the termination...

I havent done any of the specialty dining on Royal as of yet, but have on Celebrity. Finer Cut Steakhouse was absolutely incredible!!! 5 out of 5 stars for sure. I would do it again without any hesitation. I also enjoyed Le Petit Chef. Super entertaining and good food to match!!! I'd love...

I would tell you to give Celebrity Cruises a shot. I havent ever had a problem with their food and it is at least as good as Disney's and in some ways better, in terms of more of a selection. Marie

A while ago we ( Some of the Konsultant TA's) did a pricing comparison of DCL to one of the Royal ships, with a comparable ship, itinerary etc. It wasnt even close for one of our TA's family of 5. It was thousands of dollars of difference. I have nothing against DCL, the shows are...

I would guess so based on the decisions to build additional DVC units. I dont have any insider knowledge on this one though.

Or is it a better investment than more hotels?? If a new hotel is built, you only make back your investment by people staying there. If you build DVC and people buy in, they are now locked in and are paying for the upkeep through dues for the next number of years. Plus they can also sell a...

Would a better way of putting it be that if you price out a current Disney vacation it is way more expensive than it ever was previously, even bringing costs of previous vacations up into today's equivalent which I believe @lentesta has done in several different places? Is everyone in the...

Affordable or not is a very different thing from one person to the next. Also value for your money spent also varies. Marie
