Which park do you think has the best food options?

Seems to me the best way to feed kids in Disney World is to stay as far as possible from the Kids Menu. It can get pricey, yes, but portions are so huge at some places that you could easily share some of your meal.

    January 2011 roll call....

Heading to bed in three hours to get up at 4:00 am to drive down to the World!

Which park do you think has the best food options?

As many have pointed out, with Epcot's total dominance, this is a silly question. A more interesting question would be which RESORT has the best food. But that's pretty subjective. I will say this: DHS wins on cupcakes. Starring Rolls has the most insanely gluttonous cupcakes on property (bonus...

Last minute source for trading pins?

http://www.dizpins.com/pinventory/scrappers.htm http://reviews.ebay.com/FAKE-DISNEY-PINS-101_W0QQugidZ10000000001748045 Generally it's the plainer pins (especially the monthly Hidden Mickey sets traded in the parks) that are most often bogus since they're the easierst and cheapest to...

Last minute source for trading pins?

That would be great. It's odd that the Disney outlet store there has them, when the one here has none (nor do our regular Disney stores). Thanks for the very helpful tip!!!

Last minute source for trading pins?

Hey folks, We're leaving before dawn on Monday for a week-long stay at the World. We've been on point with all of our planning, but one area where we dropped the ball was in obtaining a supply of cheap(er) pins for trading, which we really enjoy. Last night we learned that Disney Stores (at...

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

Beware. We got a Nikon D90 for Christmas and have a crazy number of ADRs for our trip next week. Plenty of food photos inbound!

    Enchanted

Bumping this thread to ask if there are any vestiges of Enchanted in the parks that we should be on the lookout for. My wife is a huge, huge fan of this film, and I'm quite fond of it as well, but I suspect it has no real representation at WDW at this point. We don't need to see Giselle...

    Disney plans Enchanted sequel

Has there been any movement on this? Haven't heard a peep since the initial announcement, despite them hoping to get it out in 2011 (which seems unlikely now).

Suggestions for surprise on my wife's birthday at WDW?

That's definitely the way I'm leaning. It's peaceful, romantic, and I think would be right up her alley.

Suggestions for surprise on my wife's birthday at WDW?

Not a bad idea. There's a 9:00 show and she does like Cirque (we've seen a few of the Vegas shows). On the other hand, it's pretty pricey and we already have OVO here in Atlanta right now and she's been kind of lukewarm on seeing that. But I'll keep this idea in my pocket! That would be...

Suggestions for surprise on my wife's birthday at WDW?

Hi folks, Only 10 days until my wife and I leave for WDW! A big motivation for taking the trip at this time was to celebrate my wife's 28th birthday (Thurs., Jan. 6). Obviously, Disney makes every birthday special, but I'm looking for a little something extra to do for her that day, either in...

    SD Cards... Ideal for DSLR

I'm curious about recommendations in this area as well. I've had my eye on the Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB with something more downmarket as a backup, but wondering if that's overkill.

    Nikon d3100

I actually had the Nikon 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX ED VR recommended to me as an optimal all-purpose lens. I'd be able to afford that a lot sooner if I got the d3100 than if I got the d90, and could of course carry it over to my next body. Not sure if it's eligible for that $200 - $300 lens...

    Nikon d3100

Oh, I learned how pointless MP stats were way back at that camera shop. I also understand that, past a certain point, higher resolution can actually be a drawback, slowing down processing and ensuring your card fills up faster. But as I understand it, a bigger, better sensor yields many more...
