We're not booked yet, but I'm pretty certain we're going back Nov or Dec 2012. I will definitely hit you up for some tips once we're officially planning :)
Holy heck! I just spent my morning reading this (work? what's work?) and now I'm STARVING! Haha!
So many things look soooo delish, and I'm super jealous of your multiple trips to Le Cellier. Oh and the birthday cake! So cute! I will definitely have to look back on this when I'm planning our...
What an awesome pre-trip report... and your DD#2 sounds like the coolest person ever :p
Woo! I can't believe we're at 30 DAYS! It almost doesn't seem real!
My significant other definitely isn't crazy about Disney like I am- I grew up on Disney cartoons and he grew up on horror movies! But... he deals with it since he knows how much I love it. He did roll his eyes at a few things during his first WDW trip, and there are some things he probably...
I've been a Tim Burton/the Nightmare Before Christmas fanatic for years. I can also go on and on about nerdy stuff like Firefly and BSG. Oh and my significant other is a HUGE Steelers fan, so by default I get sucked into football every season (which is funny since I grew up in Pgh and he grew up...
Whoa, that's so cool. I love Disney (duh) and I love post apocalyptic/zombie/plague stories soooo.... :) I would totally pull a "Zombieland" and head to WDW if I survived the apocalypse!
Villains in Vogue (HS)!!! I've been collecting Nightmare Before Christmas everything since the movie came out, so it's a can't miss for me. Besides, who doesn't love a good bad guy? :animwink:
Very few people I know IRL "get" the whole Disney thing. I've had several people tell me that they don't think they would enjoy themselves (?!?), or that they went once so they never need to go back (so funny, especially when they went in 1981 and don't even realize/care that there are new...
What a cool experience! I love that the CM picked a couple with no children with them. Sure it's sweet when kids get a memorable Disney moment like that- but Disney is for kids of ALL ages and we deserve some special treatment too :animwink:
May 19th-25th at the Poly. We're celebrating my parent's 37th anniversary & my 10th anniversary (well, happily unmarried to my BF of 10 years... but it still counts!). It's also a 1 year post-surgery celebration for me as well :)
We didn't have much trouble with the Poly buses- we only had one really long wait last trip and that was the bus coming back from AK to the resort. We waited and waited and finally just hopped on the TTC bus and walked. I will say we tried to use the TTC as much as possible though... it's just...
My boyfriend definitely laughs/cringes when I take food pics "Ummm you do know that's just a turkey sandwich". :p
I still think it's fun and it helps to document the trip. I wish we had taken pictures of food back when I went to Disney as a kid. I know where we ate but I can't really remember...
My group of 6 adults went in 2008. They food was pretty good (not the best in Disney, but not completely awful) and the show was VERY cheesy... but we still had fun. I think anything can be fun if you go into it with the right attitude (and know ahead of time what you're getting yourself into!)...
