In the pixar area? In that massive space? That would be a choice...also not sure if the crowds would go crazy for that. It's something I'd find more fitting as a small, cute, intimate dark ride somewhere in fantasyland maybe.
I also believe it would be a better fit for aesthetic reasons. Imagine the Art Nouveau Theatre Façade 😍
+ a great & necessary addition for an E-Ticket in the "Gardens".
The Emerald Castle 😭 I'm seriously so surprised they ripped out an icon from an evergreen fairytale to replace it with...a cottage lifted by balloons from a Pixar film. It was one of my favorite scenes. The disrespect is insane.
Would it be? I guess it's not a bad addition than nothing at all, but it feels like a better fit for the studios in my mind.
There's way too many better options for Fantasyland: Pooh, Beauty&Beast, Little Mermaid, Villains.
I think the showbuilding would be too small to fit behind Main Station...
I'm not even certain Avatar is on the table.
It's more wishful thinking from fans.
(Did Ally mention Avatar on twitter at some point? They're the only source I'd be inclined to take into consideration). But it would make sense to build that land.
IF we were to get Avatar at some point...I...
This makes me really want a Pooh Ride & a big fake tree behind Fantasyland Train Station
Sidenote: These new scenes don't look too good honestly...they feel cheap, rushed and unfinished? Like they just plopped down some prefabricated pieces and said "done!".
I'm a bit surprised...thought...
Yeah, I think the same. Definitely nothing else coming until after 2030.
I don't even believe Lion King will open until either 2028 or 2029 so...might actually be no additions until 2035.
Why everyone jumped to correct them it's 6?
Aren't there actually 8?
Disneyland Hotel, Sequoia, Marvel, Newport, Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Davy Crockett & Villages Nature.
Seems to me like homework was well done.
Can you imagine the following:
A park named "Adventure World";
Upon entrance you are immersed into Hollywood respectively a cinematic journey through the worlds of different movies;
This park could have "Arendelle Castle" as the main icon...or a lake.
😂 😭 I don't even know if I wanna laugh or cry.
I would like that, but not the Splash Mountain version 😭 I feel like we're already getting that with Lion King.
It doesn't need to have aesthetic similarities to Frontierland, it could be a standalone area, a sort of New Orleans Square.
To me this feels like the most realistic version.
That showbuilding must for sure go beyond the train tracks, the space is too small and tight otherwise.
I love reading all these visions.
I.
So what we agree on regarding Discoveryland are the following:
-For Star Wars, we want the Star Tours to be integrated into Galaxy's Edge and have guests exit into the land.
-I would also prioritize a dark ride over a coaster (preferably an original ride...
