    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

Hopefully no one will be in your house. It does pose some really disturbing problems though.

Maybe we should start a new thread for thos that cannot see their profile, they could then ask others on here if they see it. That way they can access their vacation and have them make changes for them. LOL By the way hope your profile is not missing.

More than likely you would have no idea if someone else pulled up your profile.

As long as the retailer is following PCI Compliance regulations that is all you should see. Most retailers follow these regulations as it lowers the merchant fees also. For our business we had to jump through several hoops and have the systems periodically checked to remain PCI compliant. Even...

I really hope that is not the case. So many ways this would go wrong in hurry.

I agree, and I think part of this (and this is just IMHO) is when you spend 1.5-2 billion on a project, the bigwigs at the top start wanting their ROI. It then becomes "I dont care if it has bugs, push it out anyway".

I guess the worst part of the system sharing your info with who knows how many people is you will not know it happened, unless TWDC notifies you or if the info is used for something bad. Just logging in and seeing your info does not mean your info has not been seen by who knows how many people...

    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

We rode it in November, asked my grand-daughters (who are in the target age range for the ride) if they wanted to go again since the wait was 15 minutes. They said "Nah, let's ride something else".

@wdwd1974 can you elaborate on the implementation issues that you mentioned are delaying the project? From what I have read about this system it is mostly an access control system with some bells and whistles. I have worked in this area for 27 years and see some issues with a system of this...

Nice job on explaining the technology. Most of the technology, they seem to be using, has been around quite awhile, just a new way of exploiting it.

RFID door locks in Port Orleans French Quarter

When we stayed at Old Key West in November it had the RFID lock, however the cover plate kept falling off. We told the manager on duty about it and his response was that it was a common problem with most the doors. Apparently people do not realize that they just need to touch the card to the...

So even if you get a FP+ for say Splash, what good is it if the ride is such sorry shape that it is not worth going on. I would have much rather seen them invest in fixing the things that are broken down before investing in anything new, including new attractions. As a business owner, one of our...
