Thats assu.ing
For the 3 weeks we were there recently ToT had all 4 lifts in operation the 10 or so times we did it and the waits were no lower than previous times we had been.
On our recent trip Universal was busier than we have ever known it - have no idea why, but the number of people in these parks certainly not coming down, if anything they are all getting busier.
We stayed off property and we got breakfast included, evening food included, parking included, regular buses to the parks included, alcoholic drink included.....saved a fortune over the Disney budget resorts and got a hotel room way way better than the motel style budget Disneys.
Yep for sure...that was one of the 2 reasons we stayed there 1) A quick walk after HHN to avoid Uber queues or crowded buses 2) 'free' Express Passes for day of check in and day of check out.
People are not critical for the sake of it. They are critical because mainly Disney are charging more and more, way beyond any inflation, yet appear to be giving back less and less.
I think THAT is the crux of the matter.
Nobody has ever said they are critical and having a miserable time -...
Let's be honest, if Disney hotels were not on Disney property, they wouldn't be half the price they are.
Art Of Animation last year, it was simply a Motel, but with little mermaid theme room. If that room didn't have a theme and in resort, it would be very very cheap.
Like for like, Disney...
Really?
I know EE's queue line is very authentic looking and mildly interesting, but the Guardians queue is quite spectacular...lots going on in the queue line and 2 pre ride rooms.
Comparing the 2 is like comparing apples to pears, they are very different attractions, but I'd say Guardians...
That's why I've never stayed there. I just don't agree with Resort Fees....if you can't have the room without it then it should be added to the room rate. Its one of the biggest cons out there.
