Does anyone know the typical timing for when Disney announces this attraction closing for refurbishment?

I think Disney as much as possible doesn’t want anything that could be remotely considered to be a negative headline. I would expect a quiet typical refurbishment.

I wonder if bookings or DVC sales of Poly tower have impacted the decision to renew this project. If they are getting positive sales numbers then I guess we are getting Disney’s Reflections of Marriott Resort & Spa

I think they would want Muppets courtyard for a future Star Wars expansion, so I think Launch Bay is where Metropolis will be. Of course Star Wars is having problems as a franchise like muppets (but not as dire yet).

I’m kind of surprised they opted not to just clone the DCA coco attraction and put that where the new Cars area would be for MK. Kind of think CoCo would fit a little better.

It seems the consensus is we don’t hear about its replacement next weekend. I think there is a small chance of a bandaid replacement involving a few hour experience guests can book, especially if they are finding the need to use the space and want to make a quick buck.
