    Celiac During Pandemic

Oh, thank you so much for the information! That's interesting that the allergy menu isn't in, but I guess it makes sense to reduce on mistakes made. I looked it up and it looks like Gideon's can't do vegan or gluten free options, which makes sense...well, less time in a virtual queue for me!

    MDE MagicBand Restock/Rotation

How often do the offerings change, currently? I saw some old threads that said things would just come and go randomly! There's an Adventureland themed band on ShopDisney I'd love to get and I'm curious if there's still such frequent rotation in offerings on the MDE discounted ones.

    Friend/Family Question

Yes on the MDE login. If you go to whoever's account oversees everything, you can tap on "my profile", Family&Friends List, and pop her email in so she can have her own login. Unless something has changed, Magicband charges go to whatever card is paying for the room. If she is paying for her own...

    Masks that coaches use

Is it this sort of mask? I would personally opt for a cheaper one just because I worry about the mesh covering causing a bit of concern. 'Course, it doesn't say if the mesh can be as a topping layer, but it looks rather ambiguous.

Possible Early Arrival of Magic Bands

Will definitely poke me to order my special MB a few months before. Got MDE hooked up and was waiting for an Adventureland/one with Orange Bird but I'd rather have any fun one than just none at all! At least it's not Fedex Smartpost I guess. I'm pleased to hear it's still via USPS but another...

    splash mountain rethemeing closure?

Looking at older calendars, looks like it's ranged from one to two months.

    splash mountain rethemeing closure?

I would assume it's maintenance time, it closed around this time last year. With the 50th anniversary coming up I wouldn't be surprised if they kept it as it is until after some crowds died down, unless they really can turn it around so quickly to have the new theme up and running by October...

    ***SAVE FIGMENT***

I guess I'm a bit of a black sheep in that I don't remember the first iteration of the Imagination ride because I'm an old gen-zer. My first iteration was the current one...I mean, I did ride it four times when I was a kid because I liked the purple dragon. I think Figment's appeal right now is...

Covid Vaccine Updates and General Discussion About Vaccines

Didn't expect to be informed of the needle size from a Disney World forum of all places, ha. I'm not a fan of shots because of a freak reaction I had to one a few years ago but I'm pretty eager to just bite the bullet on this one. Already planning a bit of a buffer as I'm sort of a weak thing...

Possible Early Arrival of Magic Bands

I think most of the USPS blockages have been cleared up by now, hopefully you get yours soon, Merman!

Is DisneyParks now using COVID to make changes they always wanted to do and use COVID to justify them?

I have hope for the upcoming shuttle to be basically the same thing, and Mears has said that they intend to continue ferrying guests to the park one way or another. Someone in another thread said that an extra $30-40 per person really doesn't sound that much in the grand scheme of things which I...

Social distanced Fantasmic coming by February.

Would really love to have this show up and running in a few months. Wouldn't mind less people in the seats, always such a tight fit. Really cool to see it drained and how it all goes together!

Is DisneyParks now using COVID to make changes they always wanted to do and use COVID to justify them?

To an extent. The thing I kept hearing about DME is that it was operated by Mears and the contract's renewal time was coming up. With the train-shuttle-thing coming there's just an unfortunate overlap where a new contract (likely) would have been ongoing during the time the truttle was...
