I work at Downtown Disney and you should also know that they must have a $100 refundable deposit in addition to the standard charges due to the fact that they are not a gated attraction. Strollers and wheelchairs tend to wonder off often at DTD.

It's rude to completely blow someone off when you dont know that they are wrong. Disney is a huge company and full of suprises... be careful what you say now, you may regret it later.

good point! :wave: Allthough im not sure that resorts always have paper tickets on hand... if they do that would work!

As someone who has gone through global training for guest relations I can tell you the official rule is that only the value of one unused ticket can be applied to another ticket type. Guest Relations cast members have the authority to make exceptions to the rules and can sometimes assist guests...

well... no specifics but, from what I hear and have put together, allot of it has to do with already annouced plans... lets just say an old press release was very vaugue when the described their future plans. I don't want to loose my job... so have fun guessing! :wave:

Hey guys, I havent posted in a while for good reasons and i probably wont post much more...but I thought I would briefly comment on all the recent goings on.... I won't go into detail but I can guarantee you would never guess whats going on. I was very suprised... expect some really interesting...

I diddnt mind the canopies... they kind of added to the "discovery" futuristic feel... oh well... maybe they will put something in that is nicer looking... in my opinion epcot center is no more... if I can't go on horizons, world of motion, the living seas or the original energy... what use is...

Sadly I would have to agree with you... and if it is drawing people in I think it's for all the wrong reasons... American's (and I am one of them) love feeling like they could "win" something or get something on the cheap.... thats what this whole campain is about... That's what makes Vegas so...

I sort of rolled my eyes when the extension email come into my inbox. I really feel like we should be promoting something else, I know most cast members and fans think we should be promoting Epcot's 25th next year.... "celebrating Disney Discovery" or something. But I guess the "powers that be"...

a good rule of thumb is NEVER go into a hotel expecting to get a complimentary upgrade... if it happens it would be great and make it special.. if you are expecting it you will probably not get it and therefore will be dissapointed. If you really want the savannah view try to splurge for it...

I am about to register for the free event - I will probably register for the dessert party as well once I have stable plans- If I would like to add someone to the free event can I do so later?

Wow! this certainly has turned into a big deal! Ive never seen anything like this! I think you guys have convinced me to go! I might be by myself but it looks like ill have plenty of people to keep me company... Epcot deserves something like this... for sure! Count me in!

Did you get this taking a bus from your hotel?.. I leave for AKL on Friday... will I get a bus with a spiel? Thanks SOO much for posting this... I was having a hard time finding it.
