The negotiations were said to be with Bombardier, who made the Mark 6, who has not shown any sort of deal with Disney on any financial reports that are made public roughly every 3 months, and with the amount of money that comes with this type of deal, it would be on that report.

Nothing was ever truly confirmed, and with how long that deal will take as well as the actual process of building and replacing, it will still be several years away at least, and the heavy refurbs show that Disney doesn't see it coming quickly either.

As far as I'm aware, it depends on the day, but we rode it a couple of times during our last trip (mid March) and they all mentioned what time the ride would be closing that night (we were riding earlier in the day) and that it was right before sunset due to lower light levels.
