That's great! I was trying to get CBR, but there was no availability, I would have entertained CSR but the agent didn't make any suggestions about other resorts. She just told me the package was no longer available.
This was exactly our experience at 'Ohana(except it was full). We had last seating, took FOREVER to get seated...BUT we were not rushed in anyway and had a marvelous time.
Love the new rooms, BUT I fear the minimalist design does not hold up to the number of folks passing through there. We did a 90's room (first to be remodeled) early this year and there were lots of scuffs/wear for a newly remodeled room. We had a 80's room at thanksgiving and it was perfect...
Yes, I tried using my magic band (not to avoid being marked as having a car...just because I thought I was "checked-in") upon initial arrival. The gate would not open. So then the guard came over with a hand held device, checked my ID and then clicked/checked me in to his device. I would assume...
They were very thorough in checking us in at the gate, the guard checked my ID against the reservation. I assume that is the point at which I was identified as having a vehicle.
I'm a real live and let live sort of person...so If you hated or didn't care for the box that's great.
I however did like both the shipping box...which I reused for storage of knick-knacks or even for mailing something else and the nice box the Magic Bands came in I saved with the Magic Bands...
I was disappointed when they consolidated the Magic Band Box with the shipping box...I'm sure it saves money. The old Magic Band boxes were nice keepsakes.
We went to Mickey's Very, Very, Very Early, Not So Scary Halloween Party for Labor Day Weekend and made an "Orange Bird" costume for our 2 year old son. (It was his birthday trip). When we went to order Dole Whips from the Aloha Isle Refreshments the castmembers insisted that "Mickey" take care...
Yes, its Disney, someone, somewhere will lament every change no matter what. :-)
There are attractions at Disneyland I did not particularly miss at the time they were removed until I got to Magic Kingdom and they still had them there and it made me very nostalgic. (Country Bears, Carousel...
I think part of the outcry is that the replacements are arguably not in the spirit of the attractions they replaced. Ellen's Energy Adventure/Energy Pavilion is being replaced by a sci-fi roller coaster, and Maelstrom is replaced by a Fantasyland Dark Ride. The objection is not so much due to...
We got our tickets for this, we went to the last Star Wars Weekends(back in 2015) and had a blast. Hoping its similarly enjoyable. This past year we've been hitting the up charge parties a lot. WDW has gotten so routinely crowded during our visits that it is one of the ways to enjoy some time in...
I'm not much of a letter writer and I doubt it will do any good but I sent them a letter saying Parking Fees (and Resort Fees) are the bridge I most likely won't cross when it comes to staying onsite. I've already booked 2 offsite upcoming trips because the values & moderates were full for the...
