    Disney Cruise FAQ's

I'm looking into a cruise for June, July or August 2014, but I'm still a bit apprehensive...I think 5 nights would be ideal, but that doesn't seem available, so we're looking at either a 3-night or 7-night...3 seems way too short, but 7 is more expensive than we typically spend on vacation...

Didn't know about this little gem, did you?

The American Dream slushie looks delicious! My goal is to try some new snacks this trip (6 days to go!), since I usually just eat 3 Mickey bars each day.

The one thing you really enjoy doing(going) But get Family Resistance

I'm so excited! We're doing two other tours as well, and my family is all "Steam trains!! Segways!! Woohoo!!" and I'm just like "I LOVE AGRICULTURE. GIMME THE LADYBUGS". I can't wait.

The one thing you really enjoy doing(going) But get Family Resistance

We go with the mentality that we're all going to do it, and we're all going to like it. Sometimes we'll split up and do different things (like if my parents don't want to ride the teacups 4 times in a row), but if there's something someone really wants to do, we all do it together, and no...

    The Late-Start, First-Time, Probably-Boring PTR

I'm so looking forward to your trip report! I love hearing about trips from people my age, especially other Canadians (Toronto girl here, but I'm about to graduate from Western!). Especially excited to read about the cruise portion...my family toyed with the idea of a Disney Cruise a few years...

    Driving??!!??

We drive from Toronto, so it's just a bit farther than your drive. It's much easier now that we're all grownups (I'm 22, brother 24, plus our parents), but it was never that bad - for me anyways. My mother's favourite road trip story to tell is the first time we drove to WDW, we made it to St...

Food I love at wdw but hate at home

Well I certainly don't eat my first (of three) daily ice cream serving at 10:30 am when I'm at home.

    Your Best Disney Etiquette Tips

If they plan to meet any characters, remind them not to try to get them out of character.

Tower Of Terror v.s Rock 'n' Rollercoaster.

I loooove ToT!! It's my favourite ride out of all the parks. I do not like RnR. I'm just at that awkward height that makes my head bounce/smash around between the shoulder restraints, and I spend the next hour or two with a headache. The only cure is more ToT ;)

    Dang ! That Magic Bubble.

In recent years, my family has stayed off site twice. We stayed at one of the Downtown Disney area hotels, and it was actually very nice. A far better experience than our stay at ASM. The rooms were huge and very nice, we could walk to Downtown Disney, there was a Disney store in the lobby, and...

Talk to me about Dole Whip....

Do they count as a snack on the DDP?

    Sick at the World

I think I got heat stroke/heat exhaustion on our last trip. My family went to play mini golf at Fantasia Gardens, and I definitely didn't drink enough water, and it was HOT. We were staying at the Beach Club, and halfway through our walk back I started feeling sick. I had some water and a nap...

Is BOG still sporting crazy lunch lines?

I'm hoping the lines die down a bit by the time we go in May...the crowds are usually pretty sparse, so hopefully that translates to BoG. We're going to stand in line either way though...most of the rides don't even have 25 minute waits, so it's not like we'll be missing out on everything else...

    When visiting WDW...

My dad is a huge space nerd, so we've gone to the Kennedy Space Centre a few times. We hadn't been in a few years, so him and my mom went on their trip last year. Thank goodness, because the place bores me to death and it means I don't have to go this year :)
