The UAE is an emerging destination for Chinese tourists, and I'm sure both Disney and Miral factored in this happening and to which extent it might affect the AD park.

The Abu Dhabi park is meant to attract tourists from the Middle-East, Africa, Eastern Europe, South Asia and China. I firmly believe had Abu Dhabi not been a thing, a Shanghai second gate would've already been greenlit and given the go.

I think they'll fast track an expansion after opening the avengers tower. I see Avatar going on the plot south of Grizzly Peak, possibly the same land/attractions coming to DCA. Beyond the park, an expansion with a water park an a hotel attached would've made much sense if Ocean Park's Water...

This park will graduate from being the ugliest to the ugliest and most incoherent.

I think this turning out to be a stage show is a definite upgrade from the speculated glorified M&G "experience".

Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi is a great park, even if some of the rides are a tier or two below Disney and Universal standards. The Harry Potter expansion and the rumored DC additions will keep it a must visit, even after Disneyland opens.
