    The Red Button Option

google search: “U.S. Attorney General William Barr accused Hollywood studios like Disney and U.S. tech companies like Apple for being “all too willing” to collaborate with the Chinese government in order to access the country’s market.” Source...

    The Red Button Option

I don’t think that’s a fair or accurate conclusion to the Splash reference. Pro seemed to just be using that situation as an example of the current drama amongst the Disney execs.

    The Red Button Option

It’s a good/interesting read so just let it be. If true we will know soon. Anyway, selling those properties while retaining IP contracts seems like a great idea to help with the revenue stream issues.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

We are scheduled for November 7th so plenty of time for things to smooth out. Hopefully there is not a big covid return in the Fall but at that point if they have to close the parks again we should get to reschedule.

Thanks. Planning on it but giving them some room to breathe since it's been unprecedented for them. My big issue is getting down there from PA on a plane and what kind of experience it's going to be. At some point it's not worth the money.

Also no one HAS to go to a theme park. I wouldn’t go in July but that’s just me.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

Does this mean I'm pretty much locked in with the November 7th 2020 points I bought through DVC Rental Store? In other words, the owner I rented from cannot change/delay since it's outside Disney's window of extended points. "April, June and now August, September and October 2019 Use Year...

Universal Puts Disney's Reopening on Defensive

@WDW Pro you could, you know, ignore the people attacking you. For every one of them there are hundreds of us that enjoy reading the info even if not 100% accurate. Don’t engage.

    Split Stay 3 hotels?

I did 3 DVC studios 3 nights each in March 2019 and wouldn’t do it again. Was a pain to move so quickly. Not with the bags etc, Disney is great handling all that. It was more that we just got settled in and had to move...twice.

News PHOTOS - Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom to receive enhancements this summer

Looks nice. Does anyone have a history of its color scheme through the years? I could swear it was more blue like this when I was a kid in the 80s.

    Big Top Souvenirs Closed Indefinitely?

Could be temporary to get it back open ASAP. It’s a revenue generator after all. Probably takes a while to get the themed carpet made again.

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

The building fits nicely. Even with a new resort in that plot I'd be surprised if it would impact the monorail since the tracks are so tight to the shoreline.

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

I don't think they would do the path 3, 4, 5 years prior to adding a building. I agree that something will go there though I believe it will be another GF Villa building. I think it's just part of the whole arrival/departure experience that they are updating at 3 out of 4 parks (DHS already...
