Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening reports and using Boarding Groups at Disneyland

Apparently when a shuttle room goes down, the only 2 choices are keep running pre-shows at 2/3 capacity and not work on the issue (pre-show is synched to shuttle) or shut down the 2 shows and work on the issue. Most of the time, they are reluctant to cut capacity because it would throw off the VQ.

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

Ah but you don't die. Through the magic of Disney, you survive the experience... complete with a photo transformed from the 5th dimension :D Seriously, though it's more "Disney" in the fact that it was created by Disney Imagineers, unlike the Chinese theater.

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

Because ToTis more "Disney". The Chinese Theater is replicated on a lot of other stuff. The other 3 icons are all Disney originated. (Originally the icon was the Earful Tower, but that was torn down) FYI: The real Chinese Theatre opened in 1927. Architectural works from prior to 1976 are not...

They could have used the Chinese Theatre. The license thing is an old urban myth

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

I'll address why I think what I was told was true 1) There was simply no reason to lie about the leaks - especially since it was visible, the water was indeed going somewhere 2) the spent a fortune not only rehabbing but literally removing the sets and re-seal;ling the floor. 3) Disneyland's...

Universal's Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Construction Resumed

Bourne with its massive LED screen and auto-driving set pieces (combined with an insane amount of tech) was hardly a standard show. So I'd imagine the budget was probably higher than your standard stunt show.

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

This is what I was told when I was hired for 20k - that the renovation was going to take longer than announced due to the fact that leakage from the lagoon had leaked into the building below, and that serious work needed to be done, and as a result I wass transferred to Grand Prix. Sorry if it...

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

Funny because it leaked into the tunnels... I know because I was working there when it happened.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

While suspended, the vaccine itself was never recalled nor was its authorization ever revoked. That was a voluntary decision on the part of politicians.... total people affected: 13 total deaths: 1 None of which could be directly attributed to the vaccine -- "At Law: Swine Flu Vaccine: What...

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

Thats not why 20k closed. It was an ongoing maintenance issue but had nothing to do with the boats or tracks. Just like Disneyland's it tended to leak a lot of water. Unlike Disneyland, its on the roof of another building.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Did someone forget to include a drain in the bypass? LOL (I remember in the 70s this was daily in Fantasyland... seems the engineers forgot that it rains a lot here, versus California)

News Expedition Everest refurbishment in 2022

I may be wrong, but I remember hearing the Yeti is on its own foundation, the coaster on it's own, and then the actual "mountain" So its a box-in a box-in a box. Which makes it difficult to restructure the foundation (The Yeti is fine. The foundation just couldn't support it)
