Thanks everyone for the advice, it was reassuring that we could still enjoy things in that time frame. We officially booked today and bumped it out to 7 nights, arriving Christmas day and Leaving New Year's day.
The crowd levels the week between Christmas and New Years? We have been trying to find time to do another full week on property for a few years and between other things taking up our vacation days and the kids school schedule it just hasn't worked. It came up over the weekend that this could...
But won't opening and Genie coming online be just a matter of days apart? We are at Epcot on Oct 8th, just trying to figure out what the strategy will be then.
Sorry I haven't read the whole thread to see if this has been discussed. Does anyone think they will analyze how this goes and possibly open up Ratatouille in the same manner and scrap the virtual queue for stand by and IAS only?
Yes the Funspots do offer individual ride tickets. If you do the Gocity pass it includes 4 individual Funspot Ride tickets but I think they are just good at the Orlando location and not Kissimmee.
Thanks awesome news. It may sound funny but getting my Mom on Soarin is the main reason we are including my parents on our upcoming trip. It will be well worth waiting through an extra ride cycle for the best seats possible.
I think I remember seeing something awhile back that after re-opening you were not allowed to ask to wait for B-1. I guess this is because of social distancing in the lines. Just curious if anyone knew if this was still the case?
Yes, I think it was titled something like "Visions of Steel and Wood", it was Detroit to Philly with Cedar Point, Kings Island, Knoebels and others. If you have other trip reports out there I'm sure I would enjoy those too. One piece of advice, for the Fun Spots and other local attractions look...
We spent a week on property in Dec 2018 and loved it. We had wanted to do that again sometime in 2021 but with Covid and crazy work and school schedules it just hasn't worked out, hopefully in 2022. However we have an Airbnb credit from a wedding that was cancelled due to Covid last year that...
We were at that same HEA and in that mass of humanity exiting. I also had a stroller but I'm pretty sure I wasn't "that guy" and we weren't "that family" lol.
They are actually 4 stories because we were on the 4th floor plus we had a stroller so we were pretty much in the elevator every time. I definitely can see that not every guest on upper floors would use them but I'm sure most do. I guess one of the reasons it stuck out to me was that I...
We were there the 2nd week of December for dinner and the dessert was the trio. I have to say the toffee cake was my favorite dessert of the trip but even with a family of 4 we didn't finish any of the 3 after that huge feast.
We were at POP last month as first timers so I don't really have anything else to compare it to. Overall it was fine but there were a couple things that irked me. One was the landscaping, I'm thinking they had to be using natural fertilizer because well it sure smelled like it. This might not...
I honestly don't remember our's having a "freezer area" but it might have. Regardless it was one of the smallest mini fridges I have ever seen as there was almost no depth to it at all. It barley fit one of your standard Styrofoam carry out boxes we had with some leftovers.
