News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

I know most are arguing that there will be increased ride share usage or the train...or even possibly a new alternative from Disney- but what impact will increased rental car usage bring? Many parking lots are too small for paying guests of the resort and resort visitors (dining, shopping etc)...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Well as a DVC owner....I will start renting cars for our trips after all I don’t pay for parking- will be interesting to see the impact of parking availability on the rest of the resort as I am now taking a spot up. Less for the paying guests or the people trying to visit a resort...

Riviera gift shop selling remote controlled boats, did Disney forget about gators?

These are probably meant to capitalize on the "Opening Regatta", a boat race they hold at the pool 30 minutes before it opens.

Do you try new restaurants when you go to the world? What's one you keep saying you're going to try.

We generally tend to stick to the "Old reliables". For a short 5 day trip we have our current must do choices: Art Smith's, 'Ohana and Kona for breakfast. On the other hand we also make it a point to try one new restaurant, ride/show and experience on each trip. Our upcoming trip includes...

Which resort has the best pool bar?

My vote is the Poly ... Both the Volcano pool and the Oasis pool have pool bars and they have great staff and solid drinks. Pago Pago Painkiller is my go to, but have never gone wrong with either locale. Plus you have the option of picking up something from the Tiki Terrace after the pool...

Honeypot: Complaints about the Skyliner/Gondola; also worries and insecurities

I am betting he will be run over by the rescue boats, sadly never bringing your sacrifice to light.

If you could sit in one spot...

For me, the perfect spot is the Tiki Terrace at the Polynesian late in the afternoon. There are nice seats, views of the torch lighting ceremony, access to drinks & Dole Whips - If I stay there long enough I will sometimes grab the Thai coconut meatballs from Capt. Cook's.

What to do in February trip?

If your intention is to do the MK...think about a monorail crawl - either drinks or food. There are great lounges (California Grill, Tambu Lounge and Mizner's to get drinks and/or small plates) or you could hit quick services (Contempo Cafe, Capt Cooks and Gasparilla Grill) for a different take...

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2019

Keep in mind they released the "free" dining promotion for an earlier time frame this year, so either they are trying to squeeze more from that crowd or have not gotten the usual rush for those offers. Personally I am kind of happy about the info coming out so early, I planned a late August...

    Tusker house

We tried it for lunch for the first time this past July after having gone to breakfast several times previously. Characters are there, in fact we saw characters more frequently than our previous breakfast experiences. The food was great, there was plenty of variety from safe offerings to...
