For me, the perfect spot is the Tiki Terrace at the Polynesian late in the afternoon. There are nice seats, views of the torch lighting ceremony, access to drinks & Dole Whips - If I stay there long enough I will sometimes grab the Thai coconut meatballs from Capt. Cook's.

If your intention is to do the MK...think about a monorail crawl - either drinks or food. There are great lounges (California Grill, Tambu Lounge and Mizner's to get drinks and/or small plates) or you could hit quick services (Contempo Cafe, Capt Cooks and Gasparilla Grill) for a different take...

Totally agree!!! With this being a DVC property that is usually their MO. They are still in the middle of actively selling the Copper Creek units (and still trying to finish unloading Poly and Aulani). The last thing they would want is to have the future Riviera resort encroach on those sales...
