Easter 2011, April 24th, was deserted at EPCOT! I was shocked to say the least. Not sure if it was because Easter was so late in the yr and most families were done with Spring Breaks or everyone was at MK, but it was a fantastic surprise for us :sohappy:

Sorry to hear of your negative experiences with the Gift Cards, OP. We just returned from the World. I used ALL Disney GCs while there for 5 days. Purchased them to get my "fuel perks" and paid for them using my Disney Visa to get my Reward Points. Not one single problem occured, thankfully :)

I flew down to Orlando last week from Pittsburgh for the Rick Springfield Eat to the Beat concerts. I personally didn't go through any of the new Body Scanners. I only saw one man being scanned. Is this a totally random thing or just used if one sets off the "regular" detectors? I was thinking...

My parents have lived 3 miles from the MK Cast Member parking lot for just a shade under a yr. (Dad is a CM, Mom has AP) They go to Earl of Sandwich every Sunday AM for breakfast. Pop into MK for a Dole Whip or have a Casey's hotdog for dinner. Stop by EPCOT to walk around WS to get some...

Crocs all the way. Haven't worn any any other type of shoe to the World in over 4 yrs (3-4 visits per yr). I take at least 3 prs, rotating them daily. It always seems to rain when we visit the parks, no matter what time of yr, another reason why I wear Crocs.

I am a Crocs wearer at the World also...the Mickey Maryjanes are my faves. Another thing I have learned is to NOT wear the same shoes everyday. That is another reason for the Crocs for me, they are light and multiple pairs can be packed. I can honestly say I have not worn any other type of shoes...

After spending the day @ MK this past April ON our 25th wedding anniversary, DH and I stood in front of the Cinderella's Castle, next to Partners and watched WISHES together. I couldn't ask for a better ending to our special day...happy tears and all :)
