I was checking for a room every weekend in October and they were all sold out (or only suites available). A similar thing happened to me last year. I really think this is all mostly because of the Food & Wine Festival. I live in Miami and I know everyone travels up to Epcot on the weekends...

I don't think that is true, you can edit your reservation online and switch from one promo to the other (different tabs) to get a better rate. I did this for my trip in December. I've stayed at the poly club level and the grand Floridian club level. The grand Floridian main building club level is the best. :) I was super disappointed by the poly club level.
