    Do you disembark in Nassau?

I have done excursions in Nassau, and have also just "visited" the island. Last time I cruised there on DCL, we got off the boat, walked around for about an hour to buy some souvenirs and then returned to the ship. It's really not a wonderful place to visit in my opinion.

What’s the longest you have stayed on property?

We have the option to have either a combined work/personal cell or two separate ones. Some of us carry two separate phones, and others wonder why we do so. I want to keep my personal contact information limited, and I also don't want to have to go through a VPN every time.

    Need some advice

I am with @helenabear on my dislike of SAB at Beach Club. However, we are very much in the minority. It does not appeal to me for all of the reasons she listed. BWV and VWL are a toss up for my two favorite places. Lately however BWV has been winning, for the following reasons. 1) We are...

What’s the longest you have stayed on property?

We went to both Iceland and the Cayman Islands this year and it was wonderful. I love the fact that if we want to use (even just connecting to a wifi or cellular network) company devices in a foreign country, we need pre-clearance from our security group. I guess I just have to leave my...

Just curious to hear from others... what do you bring into the parks and what do you bring it in? crossbody, backapck, pockets?

I have a wallet and cell phone in my pants, and sunglasses on my face. My wife carries a small purse and if I need to remove the sunglasses she puts them in there :) If it does really look like rain, I will take a small backpack to carry ponchos in.

What’s the longest you have stayed on property?

I used to have 4 weeks, and was on the verge of 5, plus 7 personal day. Then things happened and I now have 3 weeks and 7 personal days. We can also have up to %150 of our annual vacation allotment in our bank, meaning I *could* take just under 6 weeks off if I planned it. WE are pretty good...

Do you own Disney Stock? (Poll)

Only indirectly through some managed funds. There are only a few things right now that I own directly, and DIS is not one of them.

    Quick service spots to avoid

Funny thing is I have eaten in ABC's commissary at their 77 W66th Street studios in NYC. It is actually quite good. If the WDW version was there instead, I think it would be out of business.

For Fellow Impatient Travelers: Tips So You'll Never Be "That Guy!" When You Fly

I'm 6'4" and while I don't particularly like it, I tolerate people reclining their seat - if they are going to sleep / recline. It's when they immediately recline the seat back as soon as they are allowed to, then put down their tray table, set up their tablet, and watch a movie while leaning...

For Fellow Impatient Travelers: Tips So You'll Never Be "That Guy!" When You Fly

I'm PreCheck, so I don't know if this pertains to all TSA lanes, The last three times I have flown (since March), in 5 of 6 airports (only Kerflavik in Iceland did not do this) I start to remove my watch and they stop me and say "You don't need to remove that". I say "It sets off your...

Any foods NOT at WDW that you wish were offered somewhere on premises???

Soup #5 for everyone ! And yes, I have had big bowls of it, and went back for seconds.

How does Disney Cruise Compare to other Cruise Lines?

Not sure which ones you have been on, but that has not been my experience. I guess I could go point for point. I have pictures somewhere of my missing veranda light on DCL with the live wires sticking out with a "ACHTUNG!" sticker on them (from when the ship was built) or the multiple calls to...

has any one noticed that the Millennium Falcon at WDW is wrong..

Sgt Hondo McKee was in the M*A*S*H episode "Good Bye Radar" So there is a precedent for Hondo and Radar (dishes) to be thrown around. Klinger "Hondo, nice name" -dave

How does Disney Cruise Compare to other Cruise Lines?

My take, and everybody is going to be different, is that DCL is worth the extra cost if you are traveling with small children. DCL truly excels in this area, and the extra cost is well worth it. When traveling with just adults, I will take Celebrity over DCL for my money. The crew is just as...

Any foods NOT at WDW that you wish were offered somewhere on premises???

It really has changed. Most of the traditional Norwegian items have been removed. I was very disappointed. My grandmother was born in Norway. I remember as a kid my grandfather buying 25 lb pails of salted herring so he could make his own pickled herring. Now I just have to settle for stuff...
