Yeah, I'd say MK Tomorrowland is too sparse. Two great rollercoasters but there's not much to do between. TL is just a poorly themed path on the way to Space Mountain.
I've always felt like the plot beyond Pirates would be great for an archeology-themed rollercoaster and maybe a reskin of...
Not entirely wrong. The original DL was really two things: 1) An almost full-scale recreation of Walt's childhood and 2) An immersive extension of Disney's products at the time. They had their animated films in Fantasyland; True-Life Adventures in Adventureland; Davy Crockett, Tom Sawyer etc. in...
This is good, imo. It's the exact kind of shop that would've been there in 1971. Thematically relevant, minimal IP, decent quality products. Hoping it does well.
Not to get toooooo off-topic... There's perhaps some chance they a) change the show to a less-politicky film/animatronic attraction or b) double this up like with Mr. Lincoln. I don't see them replacing this with much else. Certainly not a proper ride. But the Mouse being how it is they could...
I would argue that Frank Wells's death was more the true end of "old Disney" what with Euro Disneyland being the last hurrah of (edit: some of the last people to have been hired when it was called...) WED. I'd argue Eisner on his own just couldn't cut it (no offense to the guy) and Iger is far...
I think there is something to be said for an increasing number of people just not behaving with a base level of decorum. I'm the farthest thing from people saying Civilization Is Decaying or whatever (I have no truck for those types) but I do notice people not putting things back where they...
One random anecdote I can share is that I talked to a random customer at my work who went to Disney and when I asked what their favorite ride at WDW was they said Guardians at EPCOT. I guess my point is that just because we don't all love it doesn't mean it's not a major major draw right now.
It's not amazing when you look at the priorities Disney has. Not being snarky! Universal and Disney are equivalent in terms of their portfolios but Universal understands what Disney seems not to: The current demo favors in-person experiences over sit-down entertainment media. Now this may be due...
It's the exact same layout as the current spot, folks.
It really is a beautiful piece, you've got a knack.
(My personal ideal at this point would be that but over in the corner behind storybook circus, lol.)
I went to MK once, in 2004 so peak Presslering. It was still fun for kid me but looking back now I understand what I missed out on. It's funny, one of the few distinct memories I have is my family talking about the spitting camels. So in some weird way the Eisner-era guff actually stuck with me...
