    Indiana Jones Adventure refurbishment

I think a lot of it has to do with what Disney considers the core experience of the ride to be. Some LL lines basically skip you right to the front, like on Thunder Mountain, MMRR, or RSR, while others, like Indy, HM, and RotR, recognize the line as crucial storytelling for the ride and so...

    Indiana Jones Adventure refurbishment

Having LL go through the exit and merge at the rotunda would mean that those guests would miss the temple entrance, bat caves, and spike room. The amount of complaints likely makes that not worth it to Disney.

    Indiana Jones Adventure refurbishment

The change was clearly done with Fastpass in mind. The merge point is at the top of the ramp before you enter the temple, because they wanted to keep the full queue accessible whether you used Fastpass or not. They'd be able to have more people inside the temple if the queue were built to handle...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

After experiencing Tokyo Disneyland, I'd rather they do something like the Ride-and-Go-Seek they have over there. Just a phenomenal ride.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Throw out the Theme part, just as an amusement park meant to provide value, it's extremely lacking for what it's charging. Magic Mountain has more roller coasters than Universal has rides, and that's not including all the other things Magic Mountain has (there are a surprising amount of flat...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Yeah, I think the Coco, Avatar, and Avengers expansions are basically signaling that parades in DCA are gone for the foreseeable future.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I have it there too but I think it's much closer to Magic Mountain and Knotts than Universal would be comfortable with.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal here in Hollywood is absolutely coasting on the name and having the studio tour, and it's very frustrating to look at a park that isn't allowed to be unique. I was thinking about this, and if you take away the studio tour, would Universal even be considered the best non-Disney park in...

News New documentary film 'Disneyland Handcrafted' coming this winter

The shot of the guys on the trellis of the Mark Twain, not a single thing holding them in sight, literally made me gasp.

First trip from the UK to Universal Hollywood and Disneyland

Honestly, for Disney if you're committed to three days, I would do one DCA, one Disneyland, and then the third as a Park Hopper to bounce around and hit things you missed/things you want to do a second time. I personally think eight nights in Anaheim is insane, but if you're going at the end...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

When I went on in December, the canons were back to inoperable, so I'm betting that's not the most consistent yet. Also I'm sure someone will correct me, but this feels like the first real refurbishment the ride has gotten since it opened (and I guess the time that the park was closed to the...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

Pretty sure this refurb was known well before the OT inclusion in the land, and I can't imagine they want that ride down all that long given the other refurbs they have planned this offseason.

Unfortunately just a thing for FanFest, but they should make that ride imo.

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

There is an idea that an updated Tomorrowland should consider a canopy of some kind for the majority of the land, allowing for futuristic light shows to be projected at night.

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

Back in the day, I had some ideas for a potential Tomorrowland redo. Space Mountain and Star Tours were the only things that stuck around in their present forms. I considered changing Space Mountain's queue around to use the Magic Eye Theater, but I sit between that or putting a new restaurant...
