The DCL bus is $35 pp one way but it is true taking it cuts out the worries and hassle of some of the other transports. I've done it both ways, if it's your first trip may be easier just to pay the extra.

I love Sept-Oct at WDW. We have done it several times, even been there for Halloween twice. We go this year in Sept for Food and Wine which is an added bonus!
