We used taxis a few times when we were there last month. We stayed at POR, and spent between $8-$12 depending where we were going. Just be forewarned, you may get spoiled. After a couple of taxi rides, it was tough to get back on a bus, especially at park closing!!:)

Up here in the northeast, most schools go back on Jan 2. I think that should actually be an excellent week to go regarding crowds, and the decorations are probably still up. Go for it!! :xmas:

It will require a day's admission, but depending on how many days you bought on your MYW it may be worth it. Last time, I bought a 7 day rather than a 6 day ticket because it cost $3-$5 more. Well woth it, even if I only spent a couple of hours at Epcot and had dinner there.

Yes, this is true. I remember it as a teen, shortly after we had returned from our first WDW trip. We had gone to River Country and had a blast, so I was really creeped out when I read about that kid.

Sorry, my family absolutely loved this ride. The closest I will ever come to hang gliding! As for not actually feeling like you are flying, I think just a little bit of imagination gets you there.:p
