Agreed - DL's version is much better. I really wish they would axe the Pocahontas scene and replace it with Peter Pan. Pocahontas just isn't that well-loved for the amount of time it has in the show. I thought I loved WDW's F! until I saw it at DL.
I think Disney is on the right track with expanding other properties like the Muppets in the parks. To me, if it's classic Disney movie characters and rides you want to see, you go to MK. They are even enhancing those properties in FL as we speak. To stay competitive in the market, they have...
The construction on the walkway around the Lego store is creating a foot-traffic nightmare. Was just there last week and so many people are being funneled into such a narrow space that it is quite an intimate experience . I didn't expect that at DTD. After Fantasmic is over, sure, but...
You might want to look into renting DVC points from members that aren't going to use theirs. There are forums out there for this. I have seen some good deals on points for members who are desperate to recoup some money from lost weeks. Good luck. Of course the other option *gasp* is to stay...
I would love to see a Boomerang-type channel for Disney, with a mix of previous animated and live action shows. We dearly miss Bear in the Big Blue House at my house. I also always like Bonkers. My oldest daughter was a big fan of Lizzie Maguire. I also really liked the Buzz Lightyear...
Last month I noticed the bumpy bricks in the beginning were not bumpy at all. I'm not sure if was just me or not, but honestly it was just a smooth normal ride. Hope they get it all spiffy and even maybe add a few surprises.
It was not working on June 14th. I was really disappointed because we had a first timer with us who is a mechanical engineer and really into seeing how things work and move.
Bravo.
I think it's great that Disney even has value resorts available. There were no such resorts when I was growing up, and thus my family could not afford to go. My first trip was as an adult. If staying there makes people uncomfortable then they could opt for staying off-property for...
We tried blocking them in the Safari's line, but some of them jumped out of the queue (in the roped off non-guest area) to go around while others actually barreled through us like a linebacker - stepping on our feet and actually hurt my shoulder quite a bit. Completely unacceptable in any...
All's well and good until you go to get a fastpass with only one person ahead of you at the machine and you realize that one person is getting 60 fastpasses. Ugh! Or until 2 people are holding space in line ahead of you for those other 58 people.
