News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I'm in awe that the Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Wish is more interesting at this point (since it's under construction) versus what's shown on the Galactic Starcruiser. https://disneycruiselineblog.com/2021/05/disney-wish-star-wars-hyperspace-lounge/ Starcruiser, since the video was taken down:

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

    1. The setup is your team has to pass through 8 gates before your opponents do. As far as I could tell the voice counts up. 2. Seeing the preshow plus the ride portion via YouTube the entire thing still feels underwhelming. The ride portion still needs more to it.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Speaking of Star Trek and game consoles, the bridge experience was already done by Trek in 2017. And it's a whole lot more than what's being depicted here, but doesn't appear to be too complicated for a tutorial before passengers would take over if it was done during something like a Trek...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

It was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Those screens look like they're from the 70s-80s though. Dragon Crew for comparison.

So we access the pool by going into hyperspace? ...I'll show myself out.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

With the way modern Disney works, I'm going to assume until proven wrong (or right) that both lounges are equivalents with only alterations in layout due to their location.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

The ship in Space Invaders is more advanced. It could move and shoot with only one person at the controls. After seeing what's been shown, the best Star Wars immersive experience is still Vader Immortal, and it's not even a theme park attraction. The entire video could've been better with...

Food portion cuts to increase profits?

As a corollary, Disney would know how many snack credits are unused from dining plan participants. Obviously, meal sizes are too big if snack credits are going unused (and with the number of posts here and elsewhere on how to use up snack credits at the end of a trip, they are). Decreasing...

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train vs Frozen Ever After

I love how the preview image for Frozen makes Sven and Olaf look like they're about to commit murder.

Disney Genie, Genie+ officially introduced along with confirmed details of how it will work

Bet they'd increase the cost of G+ first. Honestly, at a 33% uptake, I'm sure they're already planning on it.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I was curious about how much it would cost me to see Hamilton in NYC since that doesn't feel like a fair comparison considering Hamilton's audience isn't staying at the theater. Compared to what Galactic Starcruiser would cost me flying solo, I could grab a ticket to Hamilton, stay for a week at...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - attraction discussion only

Is the UK Mary Poppins attraction still on? Since Frozen is already in WS, Disney could clone Toad from Disneyland and call it a day.

Heck, make 'em look really nice and people will keep them as a souvenir. See Disney Dollars.
