I would have liked to see a clone of the Pinocchio dark ride at disneyland occupy that space instead of the meet and greet. It probably would have been an easy change considering all of the ride components are in place

That would be an amazing ride, but it's true, universal wouldn't do that. I know when they got rid of the nick studios area, they got rid of everything. When I was a kid, that was the first place I went to. Now its nothing :/

Agreed or with MSEP, take the retired floats from dreamlights like BATB and Toy Story and Add them to the current parade. The music is the same so just cut the tracks and add them to the current one in WDW

With the picture of the new map showing storybook circus added, I found it interesting that the barnstormer is still called the barnstormer instead of the great goofini as seen in the concept art and such. Any idea why that might be?

I realize this thread is pretty old, however I think summer 2012 seems like a probable idea for the return of the electrical parade to disneyland BECAUSE it turns 40 in June.
