The GF gets really busy during the holidays. With the tower at the Poly, the monorail could become a real problem during the the Christmas season. I see them moving the Gingerbread house somewhere else on property.

The perspective may be different for someone who lives close to WDW vs. out of state. My family will build our trip around the parties. And the years we don't get to a party (especially Christmas) it feels like we missed something.

Adding I got that 2-3 weeks before the trip...so the discount didn't sell out quickly.

I was able to get theme park view room at Contemporary for 40 percent off over July 4th. Never thought I would see that.

Prices are supporting the demand. If the demand wasn't there, the prices would be "more affordable".

I think driving through the wilderness fits into Frontierland theme. Magic Kingdom is magical. Why not add in the magic of "live" Cars for the kids?
