The GF gets really busy during the holidays. With the tower at the Poly, the monorail could become a real problem during the the Christmas season. I see them moving the Gingerbread house somewhere else on property.
The perspective may be different for someone who lives close to WDW vs. out of state. My family will build our trip around the parties. And the years we don't get to a party (especially Christmas) it feels like we missed something.
