If the new Muppets project was to close HoP, they probably didn't want to announce now due to the outcome of the election. It wouldn't look good.

I'm thinking more details about the Tropical Americas section. We got the carousal animal at D23. Maybe something bigger for Indiana Jones and Encanto? I don't think we will get Brazil as a country in Epcot. Too close to Tropical Americas, IMO.

That's why they need Reflections ASAP. There is "trust" language built into the CFW contracts. The thinking is Reflections may become part of that trust and would help bring down annual dues.

Wasn't there a rumor about 2 years back of another EPCOT resort with an entrance near or directly into the park, but not in World Showcase? Also another hotel that would connect directly into MK near Villains expansion? Both of those would very likely be deluxe/DVC.

The Starcruiser disaster was started under Iger, but that was Deluxe+++. For how many people go to WDW in a given day, Disney would be able to easily fill all the rooms if the price points were lower and comparable to the rest of the market. I'm not sure what the margin is on hotel rooms, but I...

I do think it is crazy that the 14 day tickets don't have at least 3 Epic Universe days build in. Id think someone staying that long at Universal next year should do exactly what you said, and split up days into at least 2 sets of tickets. Depending upon when single day Epic Universe tickets...

I'm curious on what the pricing will be for 3 day universal tickets. I'm thinking of buying 2 sets of 3 day tickets so I get 2 days Epic. It might end up being we throw away a day, but then we can still get 2 days at Epic. (Depends on when single day tickets become available).

I haven't noticed any news about new price increases. Does this mean Disney isn't increasing prices, they just figured out a way to charge new prices? 😆

I haven't read the entire thread as this moved fast. But I think Disney needed something to attract back the guests that will be giving up some days to Universal and Epic Universe. If you budget the money, split stays between Universal and WDW are easier to plan if you can be guaranteed to do...

Price is really high. But we pay over $150 for 3 hours at After Hours. This gives more time for all the rides, especially for a short trip. However, at current price point, I do think it should be unlimited rides.

VIP tour Disney has to pay a cast member. Premier Pass they don't AND more people can use it which equals more money. Why would Disney care about cannibalizing VIP?

I think that's why it took so long to open. Disney was hoping inflation would get closer to the prices.

Shutting Disney World down for 2 days is a big deal. I'm sure they don't want to make a wrong decision. If SeaWorld is shutting down for two days, I am thinking a similar announcement will be made this afternoon by Disney.

Texas Roadhouse near us no longer serve peanuts at the table. You can get sealed bags to go on way out.
