I have to question your sanity - from my experience before and after the refit, FEA gets tons more riders than maelstrom year after year, it’s not even close. How is that dumbfounding ?

That actually makes a lot of sense given DLR space constraints - move the gate farther out , more attractions and dining and retail, sell more tickets , everyone wins

Haven’t followed this thread too closely recently. Question - are we 100% sure this is one of those trackless dark rides or is it possible that’s it’s a boat ride? Any actual statement from Disney on this? Thanks

Overall experience definitely goes to WDW. Love DL as well but the attraction with the queue at WDW just adds so much vs the DL version with that weird 80s shopping mall aesthetic

Totally agree and I think that’s the general wisdom - if you want a fun couple / few days DLR is ideal , for a Disney vacation do WDW

The word “recruit” should be permanently and fully banned from all future Disney attractions

I think the story with splash, whatever is was, was irrelevant because most riders couldn’t tell you what it was. With that out of the way, the musical score and tension building was masterful with splash. With Tiana the story is worse than trash , and the music is good but not as good as splash...
