Trying to think of what 1.9 billion can buy you. In 2007, Disney announced a 1.1 billion dollar expansion, which is around 1.6 billion today. That got us Radiator Springs, Buena Vista Street, The Little Mermaid, World of Color and Paradise Gardens. Renovations to Orange Stinger, Mulholland...

So I guess what this means is that after Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens, there will be no new rides opening up at the resort for a very long time.

Is the 2 Billion primarily for new attractions in the expanded areas next to the hotels or do they plan on using some of those billions to build on dead parts of the parks that they could expand on aka Tomorrowland, Hollywood Backlot, Avengers Campus expansion area, galaxy’s edge expansion area...

Do you think Disney would ever bring back the original Star Tours for a limited time promotion?

    D23 2024 Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I find it crazy that the two lands with the most unused buildings are right across from one another, Tomorrowland and Hollywood Backlot. Hollywood Backlot has the old Millionaire bldg, the Hollywood & Dine , the Hyperion Theater and the Hollywood Backlot stage which occasionally hosts school...

Do you think Disney would ever bring back the original Star Tours for a limited time promotion?

Call it wishful thinking or what you will but I think the original Star Tours does have a big fanbase out there. I could see Disney bringing it back as a limited-time promotion for the 50th anniversary of the franchise which also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the attraction. The...

    D23 2024 Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

You shouldn’t add “World” to the name when it’s considered to be Disney’s smallest theme park.

    D23 2024 Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I think D23 won’t exactly announce anything new except for blue sky ideas, minimal changes and new walk around characters experiences. They’ll elaborate more on current projects like: 1) Avengers E-Ticket with no opening timeframe 2) Walt Disney Studios transformation into Disney Adventure World...

New Tomorrowland. Is this the year it finally gets announced?

Well, hopefully that plan gets realized and we don’t have to wait another 25 years for the land to get a remodel.

New Tomorrowland. Is this the year it finally gets announced?

It really sucks how management can currently close two major attractions that make up the upper west side of Disneyland for almost a year but you can’t close down a couple of attractions in Tomorrowland and spruce the land up.

New Tomorrowland. Is this the year it finally gets announced?

I’ll be happy with just the new Tomorrowland planter entrance Disney promised us 5 years ago, but even that is asking too much

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

So it took Avatarland 5 years and 8 months to come to life, from announcement to opening. This sole Avengers E-Ticket ride was announced in August of 2019, it’s now April 2024, that’s already 4 months short of five years and not a hint of when construction will begin. Goodness Disney, I thought...

So is that plan to open this by September/october? Just seems weird to open a very wet ride when it’s cold come November
