What I meant by "ditch them" was to just excuse myself from them in the parks and go our separate ways and meet up later in the day. This way some of the "magic" could be salvaged. :wave:

Wow, I have to say I strongly disagree with your opinion of the Harry Potter Ride. We were there in mid July and were able to ride it four times in two days. My whole family found it absolutely phenominal (and my son, 20, is a huge Potter fan). I'm sure there are different opinions out there...

We just came back from two days at Disney (DHS and MK) and two days at Universal/IOA. I have to say, crowds were HUGE at US/IOA and not so much at Disney (which was nice not to have to wait in too many long lines). WWoHP in IOA was absolutely breath taking! We stayed on property at Royal...
