We ate pizza on board. I think, for me, the houses were ok but I think that is more because we live less than 3 hours from Vanderbilt’s “big” house, Biltmore. We’ve been several times and all seasons and that place is The Breakers x 10. Still, I enjoyed visiting RI but in no rush to go back.

The thought crossed my mind but we have family meeting us there that day and I wasn't sure how long they were going to hang out. We're in port from 11-8pm if you just so happen to be around, first pint is on me.

I wont say crazy, but its the #1 advice I give DCL newbs. Its 100% refundable and offers a discount on most future cruises. Sadly, once you disembark you can’t get it. Regardless, it looks like yall had an amazing time and that is what is most important.
