It's not about just being cramped. I have knee problems that mean sitting down for long periods can result in so much pain I end up limping. So to me standing up those 15min do make a world of difference. And I don't huff or grumble or demand people to hurry up while I'm standing up waiting for...

That depends on the situation. Some people have connecting flights they need to hurry to. Other people, like me, have issues that mean sitting down in cramped spaces too long may result in pain, so it's better to wait for my row to be called while standing up, even if that takes 15minutes or so

That doesn't make up for them getting in first though. Because they board in first, they often end up getting on buses they wouldn't if they were in a regular line, and thus pushing out someone who had been queueing for longer from getting on. The problem is that most people have limited vacation days and budgets. People will start choosing to allocate time they'd usually be at disney to universal. MK and maybe HS might still hang on, but Epcot and AK are absolutely going to take a hit early on
