Back from the Dolphin 3 days ago and will answer my own question. We LOVED LOVED LOVED the Dolphin. The rooms are nice, clean, maid service was prompt and had a sense of humour, beds are wonderful. The pools are great, hammocks in the sand very relaxing. THe only problem is the food. Picabu...

Even when the sprayer is pointed directly at the person it is intended for...the spray gets fanned sideways and backwards as well. Better than having someone with unbearable B.O. standing next to you, isn't it?

Tastes like soft ice-cream whipped with pineapple juice....and if you want to , make it a float with pineapple juice on the bottom.>>>YUMMMMYYYY

Just returned from WDW for the very first time. We did not use Magical Express...however...while we were there, I did not hear one good comment about it. Many people get so upset that they just get a cab for the ride back to the airport.

My 5 yr old likes grown-up food...not the stuff on the kiddie menu. She's into sushi, lamb, greek, etc. She also eats like a bird. So I just compromise with her and she shares with me....but I always tell the server and haven't ever had a problem anywhere. Although I haven't been to WDW...

We are flying in...so parking is not an issue for us. For us, it was a toss-up between PORFQ and the Dolphin. This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, so we are splurging for comfort. My husband and I both have bad backs, so the larger, more comfortable beds at the Dolphin had us hooked. I...

On a lighter note....I called my daughter's school last week and told the secretary that she will be missing the first week of kindergarten for our vacation. The reply I got was, "Ok, she won't be missing much anyway." I tend to agree! :o One more sleep!!! :sohappy: Or should I say...

In 2 days we'll be staying at the Dolphin for 12 days. :sohappy: Just wondering if anyone has been there this summer and what your impression of the hotel is. Any particularly good rooms...or ones to avoid? :eek: This will be our first time to WDW. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.:wave:

My 5 yr old wears her crocs all day long...walking , playing etc. SHe prefers them. My husband and I wear our Crocs all day long as well. The only way to get a blister in them is if they don't fit properly. WE love them and highly recommend them. We've never had sore or tired feet yet.

Only 2 1/2 sleeps left.....we leave on Saturday. Getting up at 2am:dazzle: , leave the house by 3am:snore: ....and drive down to Seattle to catch a plane. Then we're at the Dolphin til the 13th.
