The brown/bronze light poles are the new color scheme for the light poles in the hub. Also the new light brown pavement (which can be seen near Crystal Palace, Adventureland and patches around the hub) will also be apart of a new color scheme for the hub.
Those LED lights are apart of the lighting/freezing of the castle. A small increase in the lighting this year. It looks really pretty during the Electrical Parade when all the surrounding lights are off.

They were, until construction started and those break rooms and wardrobe areas were centralized at entertainment base for the characters that did do meet and greets at CMM and in the new theater for FOLK. Now they are the construction trailers for the third party builders.

Two of the three large cranes that are on site have drills and are digging quite deep, at least 40 ft. I am not sure if this is just for soil tests or stabilization and progress towards foundations.
