This reminds me of the early descriptions of the Avengers ride at Disneyland. You were going to start off in a quinjet, then eject and fly around in a jet pack. I guess that idea got scrapped in favor of the "King Thanos" concept.

I worry now though whether I'll be able to get all my race photos next week. The 10K starts Saturday at 5 am, but according to this the photopass window starts at 6 am, and I won't have MaxPass Friday. :(
Eventually they'll need to plan for large numbers of guests getting dropped off by their self-driving cars, then sending their cars off to park themselves somewhere further away. I wonder if they are thinking about that?
