Hey make fun of the Moana water experience all you want. It was very well done. Doesn't require an ILL or G+, creates some great photo opportunities, and for younger kids is a great time sink playing with the water guitars and other interactive features. Guardians of the Galaxy it is not, but...
Not sure where this post comes from.
First both star wars rides have stand by lines. If you want to get on them, and don't want to pay for genie+ or the ILL, you can rope drop them, or wait in line. Just like the days of fast pass, or pre-fast pass days.
Second, other than when Rise...
Probably true. But I don't "blame" Disney for that. If you are buying something that you aren't going to use, or something that isn't truly geared towards your way of eating, that's on you.
I would sometimes think of the cost of a deluxe resort we were paying for, only to rope drop and...
Oh I absolutely agree with that too. We sometimes go with 2-3 sub family groups with one group paying for the entire trip. Having everyone with the meal plan makes that alot easier. Or with older kids that might be splitting off on their own.
It's going to be a personal feeling, so no real "right" or "wrong" answer, but to me the preshow/que feels like part of the ride experience. I mean once we get inside the haunted mansion, I don't feel like i am in line anymore, even if you might have to wait to get on the doom bugy.
Same...
I mean isn't that true of basically anything? If you're paying for 100% of X, but only actually using 75% of X, then buying X isn't really going to be advantageous for you, not matter what X is.
everyone that i was with this week for the spring surprise event who was riding Tron ended up doing both each (VQ and ILL) each day we were at MK.
I will say in looking at the potential market for riders of Tron vs 7D, the ILL option for 7D is a more in demand choice. I feel like with...
I just can’t see them moving 7D off of ILL. It is just money maker that always sells out. It’s also a ride that whole families generally ride together so they sell them in bulk, whereas Tron filters out more younger kids which might be a barrier to some families buying it.
Spaceship Earth/Flight of Pandora/pirates
I don’t understand all the love for splash in this context. It was a fan favorite to be sure, and was certainly fun. But at the end of the day, it was a flume ride. There have been flume/log rides forever, at big parks, small regional parks, ect...
Other than locals, I never really understood the marketing thoughts behind the non/disney shops at Disney Springs. If I am traveling on vacation I don’t want to spend money or lug around anything I can pick up at shop locally or online. The food, drinks, atmosphere I get. Disney shopping...
Kinda off topic but got to see the new Moanna water walk through on Thursday night, between the lighting there and views/picture opportunity with spaceship earth lit up, I was certainly impressed with the nighttime lighting
So do you think they will run 2 virtual ques at MK with both Tron and Tianna, and/or 3 ILL? Tron is still pretty new to come off of either, and 7D continues to be an absolute money maker of an ILL so I can’t see them wanting to push it to just a standard LL.
It was actually very comfortable this morning running the 5K. Actually way more comfortable than I was expecting given how hot it was at ESPN yesterday picking up the bibs and such
See I don't see any problem there. Both rides are different, both are from a popular IP source, and I would argue both fit well for IP/Ride. It's not like your just taking avatar IP and forcing it into a spinner ride. The idea your in/on a banshee and its spinning, fast quick movements, seems...
