Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

Expanding to look at Westchester or AC can also give you some pretty good deals/options, without the expenses of going to he city airports.

Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

What are you talking about? He got on a message board to complain about 3 very specific things, none of which are subject to the nickle and diming he is complaining about. It’s very realistic to expect someone who has a complaint, to articulate what it is. If your going to complain and...

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

Of course the goal is to sell out every party. The goal of every business is to make as much money as possible. I would think that earlier parties might have a lesser cap, because demand might be lower for Halloween in the summer (and southern schools are back in session already) and later...

Which has nothing to do with what he was posting about. Transportation, visiting the lobbies? Disney springs?

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

The nonsense is people calling it arbitrary. Every business that sells thinks sets limits. They do so based upon internal projections and sales goals. There is nothing by arbitrary about it

Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

Except all those “feebees” like transportation, the lobbies of hotels, visiting Disney springs are still there? So what are you about?

News Walt Disney World Holidays 2025

You chose to book a vacation during a time that every year MK closes early for parties and your complaining?

Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

Honestly what world do you live in? The average price of a hotel in the US for 2025 is between $180-$210, from both Forbes, and Barrons. That's not looking at major cities or tourist destinations. How can you say that $200 per night, at one of the top tourist destinations in the world is HIGH?

Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

Your standard run of the mill Courtyard Marriot outside any city where you would stay on a business trip is going to be around $200 per night. How is that price, for a resort on property at one of the largest tourist destinations in the world not value?

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Funny to me (full discosure I haven’t measured it just going off feel) but it seems to me depending on where you are on the boardwalk the walk to swan and dolphin is closer than the yacht and beach club

MK New Beak and Barrel - Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge

Is it a waste....sure absolutely, but not really a big one i imagine Is it "better" to just purchase the cup and not bothering pouring the drink....not sure what you judge better on. I mean the could have just offered up the cup for sale without buying a drink at all....Disney didn't want to...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Do you not count/consider the swan and dolphin properties as part of Crescent Lake (really asking not trying to be snarky) as i think they have a good selection of those types of places

MK New Beak and Barrel - Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge

But here’s the thing…it’s their policy not yours, and your opinion about it doesn’t matter. It’s their policy because they want the service to be simple, quick and without a ton of “can I have x in the cup instead of the actual drink.” They don’t want their servers to have to deal with every...

MK New Beak and Barrel - Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge

Because he doesn’t and it isn’t? Disney is selling a drink and cup combination. They don’t need to to cater to idiosyncratic nonsense, nor do their servers need to deal with it. You want the cup you order the drink, don’t want to drink it…throw it out. Or wait a week and order it on eBay.

Do you take new items left outside someone else's room?

wait, so rather than just having green grocer/new equivalent deliver like a 5 dollar case of water to my hotel or if i drove bring the water and soda bottles with me, i am going to be looking around for a bunch of empty water bottles to go down to the cafeteria and fill up? Or a massive jug...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

I used to see some people browsing when I would walk in as well. We have several large Thomas Kincade's and Larry Dotson works at the house so i was always interested to see what they had. However it wasn't a place i ever saw a lot of people BUYING from. I also never really associated the...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

I did a ton of work in Bucks county when i was still in private practice, and actually loved the area. My youngest son is a big wrestler so we are still there a ton for wrestling tournaments over in Newtown. This summer i was traveling between Flemington NJ (baseball game) to Newtown for...

Do you take new items left outside someone else's room?

Or, and hear me out here, 1) a case of water is like 5 bucks and your not saving much with your "free" resort fountain soda, and 2) i can get a drink when i wake up in the middle of the night, or when i am watching tv and the kids are asleep in the hotel, and not have to go downstairs to the...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

That location for the art gallery always struck me as a bit out of place. It was a bit tucked out of the way to be a destination place to go to, and I don't imagine that the number people who are just casually strolling around the boardwalk and walk by it and decide they need to buy an...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Thinking back the breakfast thing could be an issue. For quick bites i honestly think the Fountain might be one of the best locations at any resort of quick low key meals, i put it almost on par with the Contempo Cafe. I had thought that we were able to get mickey waffles for breakfast...
