We stay at Old Key West, which is right next door. We take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and drive everywhere else. It's a control thing. John

you'll be fine. We love going to the Polynesian, renting water mice (or whatever they're called these days) and having lunch at Kona Café. the pina coladas at the pool bar ain't bad either!! J

I'm from Kentucky but was based in England when we bought into Old Key West in 1992. We now live in Celebration. We've lived here for two years now. I'd say don't do anything at first and see what happens. We've found that they're great for guests, weekend getaways with just my wife and me...

Everyone has to make an individual decision on DVC. We've been members since 1992 and have enjoyed it immensely. But it is not for everyone and I do not look on it as an investment. There are lots of other things you can buy that are investments. If you plan to come to Orlando, once or twice...

It depends on your budget. Our favorite restaurants are California Grill, Flying Fish, Jiko and Citrico's. Less expensive restaurants are Whispering Canyon and Boma. Enjoy. John

I'm sure it seemed like the appropriate thing to do at the time, but in retrospect, it was not a good idea. A very expensive bit of bad judgment. John

It's all personal preference and the number of points you have. Two adjoinong studios is really two hotel rooms...which to me sort of defeats the purpose of DVC. A two bedroom suite makes you feel more at home. If you can't swing the points, fine, go for it.

in a word, yes. It doesn't get any better than Old Key West
