I think what they were asking is if it would be multiple songs in a single ride like the Aerosmith version, or a single song per ride like Guardians.

There will have to be license fees, but paying license fees to do cover versions are going to be waaaay cheaper than licensing the original recordings and also paying a band for likeness and name rights.

Billy Idol's version is already a cover (so it would be a cover of a cover), and I doubt Disney would like what some inconsiderate people might chant. 😏

You might want to look up what the title of the second "The Muppet Show" pilot was.

It's specifically themed around Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem who are a psychedelic rock band, so the older music fits their vibe more.

The restrictions were lifted after the holiday just as stated, and they've implemented the same temporary policy for several years, so without any new concrete information to indicate it's permanent, this is just speculation.

I've seen at least one report of a guest using their Swan reservation to board a Boardwalk bus during the restrictions.
