For what it's worth, I was a Gartner conference attendee and went to the event. I've done DAH at Studios in the past, and hoped this would be similar. Rise was down throughout the evening, and the only walk on was TSMM.
I'm not going to complain about free (conference paid) access to the park...
Hi there and welcome!
I was there Wednesday through Saturday last week, and went to Epcot, MK, and HS. Epcot and MK crowd levels on the weekdays were unheard of.....I was able to basically walk on every ride with little or no wait. Frozen and Mine Train were the only exceptions, and even then...
Great report so far! I couldn't resist the lure of low crowds and DVC rental deals either, so I'm in a Poly studio starting next Wednesday.
My kiddos are all grown so I miss the magic of seeing everything through their young eyes, but this trip I'm going solo as a "post-divorce/2020 has been...
FYI for those of you who haven't made your park reservations yet.....I just logged into my account and was able to make 5 days' worth of reservations for my party of 7 in October. Took me less than 5 minutes, so now might be a good time to try! All parks were available for each of my travel...
I wasn't diminishing the specific content of this study, or whether China (or anyone else) would have pushed a desired outcome. I was merely pointing out that identifying an article's merit based on the fact it's from Harvard doesn't necessarily mean it's a completely objective, reliable study...
I agree it may be a drop in the bucket in the scheme of things, but the lack of disclosure of the relationship is a bit of a red flag. Given that it's been ongoing since at least 2013 it doesn't appear to be an unintentional oversight.
I'm not singling out Harvard, only brought it up since...
Full disclosure, I'm a finance type by trade and don't pretend to be remotely qualified in the area of epidemiology (or science in general).
However, in the grand tradition of following the money, Harvard may not be the most objective source of information, particularly when it comes to a...
Has anyone heard if military tickets will be extended? My son-in-law had purchased MYW tickets with Park Hopper for a trip we had originally planned for May, and they are set to expire 12/18/2020. We are currently rescheduled to go in October, but are waiting to see what the park experience...
Was supposed to be at the 39 day mark, but rescheduled to October so now 185 days away. Still think we will need to reschedule again but going to wait and see.
As someone who lives in the midwest (Kansas City area), I don't see much flippancy here. All of our schools shut down over a week ago, and most of the area municipalities are under stay at home orders until late April. Our local restaurants have been closed for dine-in service for over a week...
If nothing else, it's fun to see all of the KC people on here.
I agree that the thought of Disney putting a hotel into the Legends development (or anywhere else in this area) is wishful thinking. While I would love to have Disney in my backyard, I can't imagine our fair town would hold much...
