Just got a ukulele for Christmas and just got home from my latest WDW trip. Trying to learn "Listen To The Land" and "Magic Journeys" thanks for posting these. It's a bit of a challenge to figure out where the changes are being a beginner but it is fun none the less.

I think the buttons are a great addition to the Disney spirit. Can't recall some of the other occasions for buttons but they allow guests an ice breaker to start up conversation. I have had many pleasant conversations and learned a few things about other cultures and places from other guests...

Not much of a shopper so no comment on the UK shops. Canada also has a great band Off Kilter, right around the corner from the UK. If you can't see the British Invasion they are worth checking out also.

Have to agree with the previous poster about buffet servers, they usually are clearing all the empty plates at your table. They should be tipped the same as you would tip a normal server IMO.

I am going the same week as the OP and have been keeping an eye on Hanna as well. Looks like Hanna will not be to much of an issue but the storm behind her (Ike) could pose another threat to FL. Predictions have it near the Bahamas around Sunday the 7th.

Not a ride but the Spectromagic parade may not be running because of the Liberty Square bridge construction. With the weather not being so good it may not get finished on schedule.

Loved this movie as well as the books. Would have been nice if it did better at the box office enticing a sequel. I will be in WDW the week of the 6th, a lot more worried about TS Hanna than I am about the globe being out of the Illuminations show. Feel bad for the folks dealing with Gustav...
