Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I have read nearly every post in this thread. I can see that many of you are angry and hurt at the change. And all I can implore you to do is remember at whom your anger and hurt should be directed, and please remember that it is NOT the frontline CMs or the GR teams, and please show them...

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I hope you are correct, but I can tell you from personal experience that I am doubtful. See that picture by my name? The day that was taken, we were in line for the safari. At the point where you are required to park your stroller, I take it out of line and park it, and the 2 minutes later...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I hate to wade back into this discussion, but I feel like I have to correct the record on one point. The highlighted statement above is untethered from reality based on my personal experience as well as the experience of nearly every poster on this board who actually experienced the...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I moved to Houston 20 years ago, and we were apparently the first to have this. Lewis Black chronicled it well: One has since closed, but I frequented both.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Small sample size and purely anecdotal, but folks who I am helping are choosing to stay off-site about half the time. And these are veterans who always used to stay onsite. The reasons they cite are lack of value, high price, fewer advantages to staying onsite, and the amount they are spending...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I like the moving goalposts. When folks complained about the reskin, some said "it's still the same ride, it's just going to look different." Now when folks point out that it isn't a new ride, but just a reskin, we're told "Tiana's is a new ride."

Share your happiest moment at WDW!

2021 - I "forced" my parents to come with me and my daughter on our Thanksgiving trip. My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and was still feeling good enough to travel. She was supposed to come on a 2022 trip, but I made them come a year early. I'm glad I did, because by 2022, she wasn't...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane status

Seems like a couple of possibilities. As people are more familiar, they "get better" at the VQ game, making them "run out" more quickly. Or Disney has reduced the number of VQ spots available to increase ILL sales. Without a standby line, that seems easy to manipulate - if there are 10,000...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Same here. On multiple rides. It did go down on me for the first time. But I oddly didn't mind, because we got to spend about 5-10 minutes in the stormtrooper room before being led out, so I got to get all of the pictures I've always wanted but never had time for!

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

No. I made a sarcastic post about releasing old films into theatres. You decided to respond. You didn't have to,, but you did.
