I’ve seen Studio presentations starting with Roy E hyping up Toy Story 2 and Fantasia 2000 at the 1998 Shareholders meeting. This was not that.
Storytelling and character development is not great right now and it shows.
My main issue is that, there are a few ways to perform: announcements, special guests (more an Expo thing) and gifts. Last time, I didn’t even go but ended up with the Figment gift because a friend didn’t have luggage space and my Dad retrieved it. And people seemed to really like the Lug...
I’m sorry everyone. It was a bad year because I attended. Any time I try to do a Disney event (usually pin event) it’s the “worst year in several.”
But the last one of these was during the Peltz shareholder battle, and that tends to make it really important for current management to over...
We had two close strikes while we were in Remy queue but it took another 20-25 minutes before all hell broke loose. After the 2 close strikes I mentioned this was a storm that could take a whole park down.
We got stuck on the monorail once when it got hit by lightning. We were in the GF...
That’s where we were. In the restaurant building part of the queue. Got a recovery LL but decided to try and head back to the hotel (Coronado for D23) rather than wait for rides to come back. But we have been waiting and waiting for a bus, while all the other buses have come and gone.
I will join you on this bench. Although, I am one of the people who read the title and immediately thought "PeopleMover."
The kinetics of the park were so much nicer when the Skyway and PeopleMover were transporting visitors and Star Jets / Astro Orbiter was in its proper position.
You have a lot more faith than I do, that the other 2 players will see it as a face-saving dance and not weakness that should be exploited.
If economic volatility is bad for long term planning, this situation still doesn't feel great.
Individual, mid-day hack for savvy WDWMagic readers. Same as how depending on what you're doing it's easier to transfer at a hotel at WDW.
I don't think most people are going to be deterred by the City Walk setup. Mostly, because people won't be interested in hopping preferring to spend full...
The hotel. It would be an easy walk to go from the Studios to the bus area of the hotel to catch a bus to Epic. Or take a bus from Epic to the Hard Rock Hotel and then head to the Studios. IOA wouldn't be as convenient since it's still a walk from the gate to any bus.
The ticket restrictions don't lend themselves to continuing discussion. Like pointed out, a lot of us already visited, and probably aren't in a position to go back for a little bit. We did 2 preview days, and my next visit will be 2 days in September. Which will also be my DH's first visit...
I can't believe I haven't replied to this yet.
1. Disneyland (it's minuscule between 1 & 2, and more about nostalgia, happy place. I'm going tomorrow for the first time since 2021, we'll see if I am forced to drop it down)
2. Tokyo Disney Sea
3. Disneyland Paris
4. Hong Kong Disneyland
5...
But Disney knows the people who attend their big D23 Expo where this was announced *do*. If those people have enough value to hold a splashy event every 2 years, it would be nothing to feed Scott Gustin a "Relax, the water is still there," message.
