The California Grill was pretty memorable for me because of its view. You can see all the landmarks up there. Cindy's castle, Spaceship Earth, Tower of Terror, Earful Tower....
The California Grill at the Contemporary has great sushi. Of course for quality you have to pay (1 California Roll = $18). Only other place at WDW I've had it is Wolfgang Puck's at Downtown Disney. It was decent.
While it's not on your list, I recently ate at the California Grill and can recommend that. Do they like sushi, because the Cali Grill has some of the best I've ever had. In addition to the excellent food it has the best view you can get. Not only do you have a clear view of the Magic Kingdom...
Certain restaurants at WDW now have watermelon flavored soda. They add watermelon flavored syrup to Sprite and it tastes very good, similar to the chinese soda. They also had other flavors like Blackberry and Sour Apple. I had it at 50's Prime Time Cafe but they also had it on the menu at the...
I actually just got back from a stay at the Contemporary about a week ago and we were upgraded for free because they needed to start renovations on the room we were booked for. We were booked for a garden view room but we were offered a tower room or a suite at Saratoga Springs. We decided to...
It's one of my favorite rides! In my experience I have found the right side to be a faster and more enjoyable ride, but it could be my imagination. Of course it seems a lot of people here prefer a smoother ride while I prefer a rougher ride! But I have also heard the same thing about the...
I was actually there on Monday. I did see a lifegaurd jump in and helped float a kid that got too deep back into shallow water. The kid seemed fine though and I believe he stayed in the pool after he was safely back. They did not ask anyone to leave the pool or anything. However I was at TL...
Funny, we had this exact same thing our last trip. We decided to stay at Wilderness Lodge (4 adults). Wilderness Lodge is the best resort I've stayed at but I still would rather have had 2 rooms. I've also stayed at Pop Century and I think it is the best value resort. It is ugly and big but...
This is tough.... all my favorites are in resorts. But here goes.
1. Coral Reef
2. Rose & Crown
3. Le Cellier
4. Restaurant Marrakesh
5. Columbia Harbour House
Well first time I went I was 3 and I don't remember. But when I went for the 2nd time it was Figment, the newest one. It was actually it's opening day when we were there and there was no line then either! For me it was a bad first impression of WDW.
I don't think the jumping fish was working our entire trip. I think that is the only thing that wasn't fixed by our last day.
Is the waterfall before the Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da scene gone forever? It has been off my last 2 trips.
