MK Piston Peak and Villains Land Construction Thread

Come up with more pictures or videos of what is happening in the construction if people don't want to just have random discussions until someone does. I think it wouldn't be long before this particular thread will end up pages away if we only have construction observations to discuss. I for one...

Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Your "tree-putter-upper" is correct. Now that I look at that picture all I can see is a tree that let itself go to the cats dogs. No will power at all apparently, however... "I like big Christmas Tree bottoms and I cannot lie. I'm hooked and I can't stop starin' " My thanks to Sir Mix-A-Lot for...

I don't know, it seems to suspiciously look like fat tree shaming. That's not a tree that's a green stick with shiny stuff stuck on it. ;) It looks great, but the first thing that came to my mind was how I used to lay on the floor under the tree and look up at all the bright lights and shiny...

I've used that phrase directed at myself many, many times. The sad thing is, it is quite true.

Yes, I knew about the drumming and I believe she also did the drumming on many of there releases. Her story was such a sad thing. It is one thing to OD and be quick about it, but she basically starved herself to death that had to be a long and unpleasant experience.

That's called clay. I could be wrong but when making man made lakes the use of clay, found on property was likely used. I maintain that they pile of dirt that we see in the pictures is much to gray to be sand or topsoil. I think it was removed and stockpiled to be used to line whatever remains...

The Chit Chat Chit Chat Thread

I had my fill of 'Rainy days and Mondays' when it first came out. That said, however, Karen had a magnificent voice. I wonder how come so many musically gifted, talented, successful people end up harming themselves, one way or the other. When no talent slugs like myself tend to keep pushing on.

I had a number of those that I continued to use until my reel to reel broke and couldn't find another. They were very rare by then and have never made a comeback to my knowledge. I think mine disappeared about a year after my machine broke down. No use keeping them, 8-tracks and then cassettes...

Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Yes, it did make a lot more sense once the first one was described. I just wasn't sure what movie(s) came out after the musical. I have listened to a lot of the original Wicked music and liked it as well. I think that is why I had the curiosity to see this movie.

Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

You are absolutely correct. The way you describe it, it would have been a cinch to follow if I had seen it. Thanks for the info. To me the staging of death is not really what I took from it. I think they did die but remember she was a witch with many powers and somehow conjured them back in a...

ABBA is my second favorite Group. No one will ever top The Beatles as far as I am concerned. I do like a lot of different genres from some heavy metal, Cajun, some country, some classical, some Disco and even some Barbershop Harmony plus many other specific groups and individual music greats. I...

Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

The only thing that I care about is how many kilometres are in a mile or vice versa if easier. Any cute little diddy for that question? You being a certified "Wicked" expert or anyone else that can answer this. Today I went to Wicked: for good! What edition is that one or how many have there...

Older Adults are [were] the Key to Disney's Success

I never feared aging. I never thought I would live long enough to get old. Until I went past it, I never thought I would live to 30 years old. I don't remember if I ever told this story before, but on the day before my 30th birthday I was sitting in the boarding area awaiting the "repair" to be...
