I agree with you, but you can't have a discussion with someone who doesn't understand the difference between fact and opinion. I may have said it a bit harshly, but I don't think anyone here would defend a statement such as "Shrek is unoriginal" as being a fact.

It did well becuase it was a good, fun, original, creative movie with a unique story, and didn't resort to cutsey songs and singing animals, and it appealed to both adults AND kids. But you keep living in your Fantasyland :)

A long-time lurker with a few comments:
1. As for the length of time between the injury and the lawsuit...this is very common. Lawsuits are always a LAST resort. I'm sure the family has been in constant contact with Disney trying to reslove the issue, and when you finally reach a point...
