Different laws. WDW is private property, Disney could absolutely remove any strikers from property. The impact to this will be to restaurant ops, not to people seeing a picket line in the World Showcase.
Labor Day was never crowded. It’s the last weekend before school starts for half the country, and the third weekend after school starts for the other half. Parents with school-aged children aren’t going that weekend.

Yeah, Google maps says it’s 17 hours from me. Google maps also doesn’t account for the need to stop occasionally to get gas, go to the bathroom, and the fact that you’re almost guaranteed to hit unexpected traffic in multiple places.
When we stay on property it’s not for the buses, it’s for the ability to walk, take a boat, take gondola, or take a monorail. If I have a choice between a bus only on property or staying at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, CWBC is winning every time for me.
Having someone meet you as you get off the plane and carry your luggage for you to the waiting car is a higher level of luxury than summoning an uber on the app and schlepping your luggage to the designated uber pickup area. I’m not saying it’s worth the $400 premium, I wouldn’t pay that, but...
