Lot of information out there that A/R, V/R is really bad for young people whose eyes are still developing though, which should box it out for most children/young adults. Similar studies for screen usage in general of course, but not to the level of A/R, V/R.
I suspect the place where these changes are going to have the most impact is on the parties and after-hours events. It’s not like Disney can “sell more genie+” to make up for fewer DAS users in the lightning lanes, so all users should see significantly reduced waits at the parties. We’ll get...
Yeah, there’s a big delta between “accidentally” scalping a ticket to a sold out event at a profit and calling Disney to request a refund. Disney is extremely generous with their refunds and is world-renowned for their customer service. If we start getting reports of people with disabilities...
Disneyland indicated they sold their tickets for more than face value. They could have called in and gotten a refund. They instead put it on eBay and turned a profit. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I attached a screenshot of the relevant portion. There is literally a quote from Disneyland indicating that they sold it for more than face value, and then two paragraphs below that they write a full apology appearing to admit to it.
I read the article. They admitted it and apologized. Great. They can start using their AP’s again in ‘25. Scalpers are a scourge and I have no problem with Disney’s line here.
Ok, and Disneyland indicates they sold the tickets for more than face value. So if they were scalping tickets to a sold out event for more than face value than the punishment seems appropriate to me.
They’ve had an unofficial refund policy on park tickets forever. It is basically call in, have any reasonable excuse whatsoever why you can’t attend, and at worst ask to escalate to a supervisor and they will refund you. They are renowned for this type of customer service.
Wow, May 4th unavailable for AP reservations at HS. I know it's May 4th, but it can't possibly be that busy given how slow it is this time of year. They just want to push AP's to other parks and/or don't want to staff HS enough to cover the demand. Shameful.
I agree that it's really annoying and they need to drop this. That said, unless you are going at a super peak time, you are almost certainly going to be able to modify your park reservation that morning to any other park you want. The whole thing is just really stupid at this point. They...
